The Quittin’ Time program is
available to employees of the BC public service or
other organization with coverage under the BC public
service benefit plan. Spouses or dependants that are
listed as dependants under the BC public service
employee’s benefit plan are also eligible to
participate in the program. The program includes
professional
quit
counselling, texting
support services, and expanded pharmacy or
extended health coverage for
smoking cessation products.
Participants who have extended health coverage and
register to participate with the quit counsellors
may claim smoking cessation products/prescriptions
costs for reimbursement under the extended health
plan.
Please note that products/ prescriptions must be
purchased in the six-month period following your
registration in the Quittin' Time Program.
